Thompson Calstock deservedly won this cup final before a large crowd at Launceston on Tuesday, writes "Claret".

The junior Tintacs put up a great fight, their hero being Nute their fifteen years-old goalkeeper, who brought off some fine saves, including a penalty taken by Studden, the visiting captain. Brown too, at right back did a Trojan's work On the other hand, Calstock did not produce the form they showed in their semi-final tie with Launceston. Thompson's goal came about ten minutes from the end The Cup was presented to Studden, the Calstock captain, by Mr E. Baker (president of the association) and the winning players received miniature cups, and the runners-up, silver medals.

N.B Harry Cann the ex Argyle 'keeper played for Tintagel 1st Team Which also included another former Argyle player Cephas Dawe (aged 47) and Dudley Kernick who went onto to play for Torquay United.
