FIRST FOR BOSCASTLE
Boscastle goalkeeper Dave Bosley was slightly concussed when hit in the face by a fiercely struck free kick.
He hardly had time to recover when a shot slipped through his hands for Lewdowns first goal. Within ten minutes Nigel Colwill made it 2-0 with a looping shot into the top corner.
Boscastle reduced the arrears when a Paul Safhill shot took a deflection to beat the previously untroubled Nigel Dennis. Just before Dave Bosley was unable to continue and was replaced by substitute goalkeeper Garvin Reynolds.
In the second half Boscastle kept Lewdown penned in their own half and it was no surprise when Simon Biddick hammered home the equaliser. In the first period of extra time Boscastle scored twice through Hewitt and Marshall to win the cup for the first time.
